There’s something special about getting dressed up, enjoying a delicious meal, and spending an evening surrounded by wonderful friends and neighbours. Our recent Masquerade Fine Dining at The Royal Suites was exactly that — an incredible evening filled with elegance, laughter, fantastic food, and great company!

Our residents and staff embraced the masquerade theme, dressing up for the occasion and adding a little extra glamour to the evening. It was so much fun seeing everyone enjoying themselves and getting into the spirit of the celebration!

A Delicious Evening to Remember

Our talented culinary team prepared an incredible menu that made the evening feel extra special.

We started with Breaded Cheese Ravioli, served with tomato sauce and creamy ranch sauce.

For the main course, residents enjoyed a choice of two delicious entrées:

Beef Bourguignon, served with buttered parsley orzo pasta and seasoned asparagus spears.

Or Salmon en Croûte, featuring salmon wrapped in puff pastry with garlic, spinach, and cream cheese, accompanied by creamy dill sauce, baby roasted potatoes with butter and chives, and sautéed zucchini and red peppers.

And, of course, no fine dining evening would be complete without dessert! Our decadent Chocolate Truffle Tuxedo Cake, finished with chocolate drizzle, strawberries, and kiwi, was the perfect ending to a beautiful meal.

Wonderful Entertainment and Even Better Company

We were delighted to welcome Heather Johnston, who provided wonderful musical entertainment for the evening. Her performance added to the lovely atmosphere and made an already special night even more memorable.

But what truly makes evenings like this so wonderful is the sense of community. Seeing our residents enjoying a beautiful meal together, sharing conversations, laughing, and making memories reminds us just how special life at The Royal Suites really is.

Events like this don’t happen without a lot of hard work, creativity, and dedication behind the scenes. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing culinary team, activity department, and all the staff who helped bring this beautiful evening together.

From the delicious food to the decorations and all the little details, our team went above and beyond to make the night unforgettable.
