Augusts’ Fine Dining was A Midsummer Night’s Dream!

 

Last night the Tenants enjoyed the decadent dinner that consisted of an appetizer of Spinach and artichoke dip, served with house made bread. A Choice of Grilled Lamb Chops with a rich demi- glaze OR Garlic & Herb Roasted Cornish Hens, seasoned with thyme, rosemary, oregano and garlic. The rich sides included Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes with lemon and parsley.  Also adorning the plate was Green Bean Almondine, steamed and tossed with butter and slivered almonds.  Dessert was a deliciously moist Red Velvet cake with creamy cream cheese icing.

Before dessert was served, we were fortunate to have members of a FANasy Fest Brockville join us in costume, to promote their next event: MEDIEVAL FANTASY Saturday September 16th 10am- 4pm at St. Lawrence College. The Tenants enjoyed posing for pictures with the players as well as asking them questions about their attire.

After the decadent dinner and some libations, it was time to enjoy some live entertainment provided by Tom Valiquette. Tom along with his guitar, took the Tenants on a trip down memory lane with some tunes from the 50’s and 60’s.  T’was a most enchanted Midsummer Night’s Dream Indeed!
